Disappointingly (at best) House Republicans are obsequiously doing the criminal-in-chief's (CIC) bidding to attempt to keep the impeachment from being taken seriously by the American voter.
I keep asking no one (who is there to ask?), what is wrong with these people? Don't they have a conscience? How do they live with themselves? Everything they're doing to keep CIC in office is a lie. At every stage I've believed people would, when it mattered most, do the right thing. But they haven't. They're doing the thing they think will get them elected again, at the expense of self-respect.
Who wants to be elected based on lies?
