Interesting...the image is very visceral, which is what made me think of introspection. Curious: what were you wearing?...medical gown?...casual clothes?...formal wear? I have a theory.
Nothing profound, but I have a theory about clothing. Similar to how body language reflects our thoughts and attitudes, I believe the type of clothing we wear in our dreams (both style and coloring) reflects our subconscious feelings about the event we are dreaming about.
So your casual attire might reflect an unconscious desire for introspection. Perhaps your subconscious is urging you to slow down and reflect on your environment and your role within it.
This seems to be counter to what you mention a few posts up - that you think the dream happened "because someone's looking very closely at [you] and it annoys [you] sometimes". I think you would have been dressed differently if that truly were the impetus for your dream.
Interesting theory, very insightful ...you've missed your calling as a psychotherapist! I think the truth is sometimes you have to let people autopsy you, it's not the end of the world. In fact, it can be the beginning of something real.
